    Winning entries will be displayed at the Keep Lubbock Beautiful booth at the 2012 Lubbock Arts Festival, April 13-15, 2012.

• Call for Sculpture at the Park
  Keep Lubbock Beautiful is seeking designs for an outdoor sculpture that will be placed in the park area located at 13th Street and Avenue Q. The winning project will receive $500.00. The cost of the sculpture should be included with the submission and will be a factor in choosing the winner. The submitted project should include size, materials, and contact information. The City Parks Department will provide installation services. The project should be made to endure the weather and have no moving parts. The theme of the piece should be the Energy of West Texas- people, agriculture, and/or wind. Downtown Lubbock is set to begin many improvements and it is hoped that this piece would lead the way for many public art projects in the area. Deadline for submission is May 1, 2012. Results will be announced by July 1, 2012.
